All ONSITE ticket holders can attend one site visit complimentary. The attendees must take care of the transportation to the site visit place themselves. 

Registration for site visits will open three weeks before the conference.

Site Visit at Vilnius Airport (VNO)

Join us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Vilnius Airport, where innovation meets infrastructure in one of the most transformative projects in Lithuanian aviation history. In 2025, Lithuanian Airports proudly unveiled the state-of-the-art Departure Terminal T4—an achievement that marks a bold step forward in enhancing passenger experience and operational efficiency. During this immersive site visit, participants will gain first-hand insights into the complexities and triumphs of the terminal’s development. Arnas, a key figure in the project, will lead a comprehensive presentation detailing the challenges faced, the strategic solutions implemented, and the vision that brought this milestone to life.

Urbanbee.lt is a Lithuanian startup specializing in urban beekeeping, a modern approach to reintroducing biodiversity into city landscapes. We host beehives on the rooftops of businesses committed to enhancing their sustainability profiles. Our offerings include honey, bee products, and a range of workshops designed to educate the local community, improve the urban environment, and protect at-risk bee populations.

While one group is having an excursion, other groups will have a chance to enjoy a honey tasting and discussion at the nearby rooftop terrace.
During the workshop, participants will have the unique opportunity to visit an urban beekeeping site in Vilnius. Here, they will don beekeeper hats and delve into the fascinating world inside a beehive. The beekeeper will discuss the concept of urban beekeeping and its significant connections to team building, sustainable city development, and social and environmental responsibility. The beehives serve as a living example of effective project management, demonstrating how tasks can be diligently managed, and roles assigned with precision. This site visit will provide valuable insights, enriching the participants' understanding of project management principles in a practical, real-world context.

Additional Information

Participants in the workshop that day should not wear skirts, use perfume (because of the bees), or wear high heels (per the building manager's request regarding the rooftop surface). We will not be able to make exceptions for non-compliance with these rules.

Western Union is a global leader in cross-border and cross-currency money transfers and payments. Established in 2010, their branch in Vilnius currently employs more than 1,000 people, making it the largest site of the company worldwide.

They cover a wide range of functions including anti-money laundering compliance, accounting and finance, IT, human resources, marketing, money transfer operations, digital money transfer and payment operations, robotics and automation, among many other specialties. The company continues to grow and is constantly looking for new colleagues.
